just so you know, the null attribute overrides the value attribute.
so even if there's a value specified for the value attribute, and null
attribute is set to "yes", a NULL will be inserted.

common practice if you don't know whether or not to expect a value is
to place some conditional logic inside the null attribute itself:

<cfqueryparam value="#form.myNumber#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer"
null="#yesNoFormat(NOT len(trim(form.myNumber)))#" />
