I'm developing an application that stores the session info in a db "onSessionStart". Under certain conditions, onRequestStart, it redirects to a different location that inherits the original onSessionStart method. The odd thing is, it's saving a second record in the db - evidence that the method is being called again. I thought it only runs once - when the session is started. I assumed that a redirect wouldn't cause the session to be restarted.
