Currently we are using Shanje to host our site (which does not use cf) and the site of
a nonprofit that we give hosting to (which does use cf). Their not
terrible hosts, but they're not great, either. We are currently looking for a new
hosting company. Our biggest complaint has been the server logs. They
were only up and running recently, after being promised for months, and even now only
work about half the time. It also often seems like their server is
somewhat on the slow side, though for small sites this probably wouldn't be a real
problem.
On the flip side (cause I don't want to sound like I'm bashing them entirely) they do
offer pretty good prices and I've had no problem with my database
functions. I really like how simple the control panels are, though they do assume a
certain amount of knowledge on the part of the user (not for a brand
new novice).
Just my $0.02 worth.
