No what you have done is fine, however if you are going to use the desktop
version of SQL then don't use access. You might as well just go straight to
creating the tables in msSQL rather than spending the time to convert?

Subject: SQL AND ACCESS 2000

Can convert the access db to sql db and save the sql db locally that way
I then can make all the adjustments to the sql db locally rather than doing
them live and then once done I then use enterprise manager to transfer the
local sql db to the live sql server. By being able to make my adjustments
locally and testing the sql database via my local cold fusion server I can
test the site and the database locally rather than using the live site as a
test site for my database

The issue is that I am running win 98 and I have been able to install the
desktop edition of sql on my laptop however I am not sure if that is enough.
Do I need to run the full version of sql on the laptop in order to run the
sql database locally.

If so can I do this in 98 or do I need to upgrade to w2k ???

Kind Regards
