How do you get metrics / demographics with a proxy?  Adobe may not used
distro mode, I thought they did!

My understanding is that Adobe uses proxies, not distributed mode, and
identifies CF requests by their context root URL pattern (/cfusion). In any
case, there aren't any performance problems specific to distributed mode,
and in my experience it may run as well as, or faster than, the standard
combined configuration.

I prefer the use of proxies because they're generally easier to set up, and
less fragile, and because it's easier for me to figure out HTTP than JNDI.
