How do you get metrics / demographics with a proxy? Adobe may not used distro mode, I thought they did!

In any case, there aren't any performance problems specific to distributed mode, and in my experience it may run as well as, or faster than, the standard combined configuration. I prefer the use of proxies because they're generally easier to set up, and less fragile, and because it's easier for me to figure out HTTP than JNDI.
