OK, you could certainly do that with a smartphone or PDA phone, running
Windows Mobile or Palm OS. I prefer Windows Mobile, and think it may be more
suitable for enterprise deployment.

For simple data entry, it should be sufficient. In general, you'll want to
provide simpler data entry interfaces for mobile use - fewer steps per page,
"wizard" interfaces. So, it'll typically be a separate interface from your
main site.

Keep in mind that your users will likely be unfamiliar with the phone
interface and its web browser, so plan to provide training and perhaps some
device customization.
