Greg, I'm running CF with FoxPro (unfortunately FoxPro 1.0 tables), and I was searching for Type 4 JDBC drivers about a year or so ago. You're in luck. I've found *one* single place that writes a type 4JDBC driver.
http://www.hxtt.com (look at the DBFv3.1 link on the top left of the homepage) This driver is written by a small group of guys in China. I was apprehensive about using them at first because of support issues, but I've really had no problems. In the beginning, there were lots of problems, but as I found them and emailed them with the issues, they fixed them (sometimes on the same day). Their willingness to work with their user base is fantastic. Download their evaluation copy. And if you decide to buy the license is only like $500 US. Holler at me if you have more questions about the driver. I use it every day.
