Interesting idea. Hmmm.... I've tried the Microsoft "fix" on my processing page by calling a small gif file like https://www.mydomain.com/secureapp/small.gif - and that doesn't fix it, but, I'm wondering if the gif is getting loaded to quickly or something. Haven't had time to try it yet, but I'm thinking about trying to add a .5 second "pause" to the page before the cffile code block and see what that does.
