While not an article I would love to share the personal experience
that I'm having today... with ASP (not .NET) and a server that
crashed.

The server hosts a lot of clients (inherited, not originally mine or
this company's). There were no live server backups and no
documentation... today, three weeks later, we identified an ASP
component for uploading that has to be located and installed because
three clients use it instead of the one that was used everywhere else.

If the sites had been CF, we wouldn't have to worry about whether or
not the components are installed (these are the basics, mail, upload,
search, administration). They're BUILT IN to CF.

I've already sold my boss on using CF moving forward for a number of
different reasons, this one just stuck in my craw because of today.
