I have to say it makes me happy to see so many people suggest Apache (even on Windows!) and VMWare as solutions -- both tools I've long been involved with.
But I'm really looking for a 1u or smaller (eg VIA form-factor or Cisco PIX501-size) turnkey solution. I think that the used route on ebay for Cisco LD is where we're headed but was hoping someone's had experience with things like this http://www.kemptechnologies.com/load-balancer-1500.shtml or maybe some low-end serverironxl products.
