Hi all, Working with CFMX7 on Windows. I was wondering about the performance differences of using CFFILE to read in an XML settings/params file for every request as opposed to going to the database to get these settings for every request. These settings/params do not change much and even if they do, the changes occur in the off-hours.
I cannot however set these params in say an application.cfm or any such initializing code.
