I wanted to get everyone's opinion on best practices for generating thumbnails.
I'm have a screen that allows users to upload pics which will later be displayed as thumbnails. When the user clicks on the thumbnail, the pics will display to its full size. Does it make more sense to generate the thumbnails at the time of upload or should that be done on the fly when the thumbnail page is displayed? Thoughts?
