Thanks Guys, but I didn't explain myself properly. It's not just a
question
of adding 1 field, but from 1 to n fields. (n is smallish, but
indeterminable, as in contributors to a scientific paper for instance). So I
would really like to actually "add" a formfield EACH TIME the "more" button
is clicked.
Josh, Can jQuery do this? What's the learning curve? (I'm old and slow)
Again, TIA
Dave

This is the kind of thing jQuery makes very easy - you don't need ajax
unless you are getting data from the server for some reason. You can do it
with about three lines of code using the jQuery library. Of course you can
also do it with custom JS, it will just take more coding to do it.
As Jochem noted you'll need to take care to make sure your form works
correctly without JS enabled as well, if you are in an environment where
having JS disabled is a possibility.
