There have been so many image threads goin on today, I thought I would ask about a question that has bugged me for a while now.
I want to allow my customer to upload images over a potentially slow line. They need to upload a lot of them. All these images need to be tagged to an item in a database (the user needs to choose them from a folder on their PC) Here is the kicker: I want the browser client to resize these BEFORE they are uploaded. Javascript, Java, Flash, whatever. Anyone have a low cost solution that will do that fairly quickly, and allow me to control size / quality from browser based settings, so the size of the upload is minimized? Happy Friday!
