Are the ports for mySQL open on your DB server? If so, there are many DB plugins for Eclipse that would be of great benefit or even Toad or the tools from www.mysql.com but it would help to know more about if you can or can't connect via the DB port. I find web interfaces to slow, and not to mention it will have to be running from your website.
