Yup, from what I have seen you want to completely use the Model Glue syntax and let MGU do all the talking directly to Transfer. This adds another layer of abstraction, so if for some reason you switched to Reactor, it would be a simple matter of writing new reactor xml files to match naming conventions. This also brings database inquiries in-line with MG syntax, which makes the entire app feel very homogenized =)
