Here's a good Friday question.
In my internal web app, is it possible to populate a dropdown with a list of computers on the network running a SQL Server. Basically, like in SQL enterprise Manager, when you would go to register a new database with the wizard it would "search" somehow and give you a list of servers to choose from. How did that work? Would it just scan the subnet for hosts with port 1433 open? Is that possible with ColdFusion?
