This whole thread reminds me of two CFDJ articles. One by Simon Horwith in the January edition, "ColdFusion: So easy, even a caveman can do it".
And another article by Brandon Harper, where ColdFusion and Java are compared to a razor blade and a pair of safety scissors respectively.
