Bruce - just wanted to say be very afraid of Able Commerce. Not sure what your customization requirements will be, but it's basically a Java app adapted to CF by wrapping Java-esque code with cfscript tags. It's probably fine if you're not looking to do many mods, but I found it to be very difficult to work with.
