Seen some mentions to id= causing unusual problems, this could be due to the 
fact that historically, Google treats that exact perameter as a session 
variable. They used to recommend not using it in their webmaster guidelines 
(couldn't see it though when I just looked).

As for being dropped from the SERPS, for new or low ranked sites its quite 
commmon but pretty crappy when that happens. Normally only temporary for a few 
weeks, so tweaking SEO is not really worth your while unless your sure. Firstly 
check if your still in the index site:www.mydomain.com. If you are then you 
really just need to improve your visibility and increase the links to your 
site. More links = less wait
