Hello, I am starting up with coldfusion,so very new to it. I have installed Coldfusion trial version from Adobe site. I have Coldfusion programe to test out the things how it can run to my machine. I have tried to open file with my browser that is index.cfm and another is aplication.cfc but nothing happened. How can i run the coldfusion file to my machine ? what other installations do i need ? do i have to install apache server to run coldfusion file ?
Even as i have installed , Coldfusion trial adition of adobe, and i just tried to run it from programme files, i don't see any programme within it where i can run coldfusion file, so i have opened it with macromedia dreamwever and tried. Pls help me with the basic start problem. I am expert with php and .net so, can understand technical aspects well.. so, pls reply.
