I don't think you can do this for security reasons. They don't let
JavaScript programmers change your history, that could be bad. I
don't even think you can read it. You can send them back or forward
through their history, though. Who knows, maybe M$ decided to make
this information available for everyone that uses IE...
Also when you pass a password (or any form field) via the URL, it ends
up in web server log files.
