Not that easy, because I have several submit buttons, and they perform different checking depending on which one is clicked. And all buttons and functionalities are in a common editFooter.cfm, so I don't have to worry about them when I create a form. Anyway, an onClick event on a submit button returning true is not supposed to change the method from POST to GET is'nt it? No more than an onSubmit. -- _______________________________________ REUSE CODE!
