Well I cannot speak highly enough about intermedia the interface that allows
you to have total remote access control over all aspects of your cf site.

Then there is the support. !! Well what can I say they have 24/7 support and
the longest I have had to wait for a support email reply is 1 hr often I
receive a reply within 15 minutes regardless of the time of day / night I
send the reply.

There membership process to totally slick by the time you have completed the
forms which take no more than 10 minutes the next thing you see is
notification that your account has been set up and you receive the login
name and password access for you to start ftp'ing.

Now an earlier post today indicated his concern with intermedia and the
speed of the connection and the server at times. I paraphrased part of his
post and emailed it to support and this was their reply:

"Some CF customers don't like our service because we are "too slow".  The
reason for this is because we run CF Security Sandbox.  We feel that this is
a necessity in a shared hosting environment, as it is the only way to make
a CF server secure (so that your content is safe from other users).  What
this means is that, each time CF is rebooted on your server, the first time
you run the script will be slow (every time after that will run
normally/fast).  We understand that this is sometimes inconvenient, but feel
that security must be a top priority in this business.  "

"The CF is down for about 15 seconds whenever
CF is rebooted (the rest of the site continues to function).  CF is rebooted
on an as-needed basis.  The server is itself rebooted approximately once
every three days."

In summary go the intermedia site located at www.intermedia.net and read the
plethora of customer feedback about the service they provide. I am only new
to the world of CF however some of those who have supplied their feedback
have been in the industry for many years and also have nothing other than
total praise for the service provided by the company.

Based on pricing, features, online recommendations (CfHub.com,
HostIndex.com), etc., we have actually narrowed our Cold Fusion hosting
choices to 4 companies and I need your help.

If you have any info good or bad on the quality of service from these
hosters, it would really help.

Our choices are:

Pegasus Web tech
Intermedia
Web Hosting
CfxHosting

If you have any info regarding any of these companies please let me know.

I'm interested in knowing your satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) with their
tech support, overall uptime, customer support, site speed, etc.
