We're in the process of spec'ing a new web server and planning on moving from our current CF5 based web sites to CF7. This is planeed for the July/August time period, with early September targeted as a live date.
Anyone have a recommendation to whether it would be wise to do this now, or would it be better to wait for CF8 to be released? I don't fancy going through two major projects of porting to a new generation of CF server in the course of a year. For those using CF8, is it proving to be a lot of work to go from 7 to 8, or is it relatively painless? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 The most significant release in over 10 years.
