Thanks for all the great information gentlemen. Very helpful. Mainly, it's my boss who is worried (he's a big time worrier!) about our site performance in Europe and overseas, as the site is currently hosted in the U.S. To my mind, we don't really need Akamai as yet; only about 10% of our traffic comes from overseas, and the performance in the U.S. is fine. >From all the information presented, it seems like Eric's setup, i.e. having Akamai cache only images (and/or video if we start serving up video), might be the way to go for us; I want to be able to make a change to a .cfm template and have it reflected everywhere, immediately. Sorta depends on the cost involved. -- Josh ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Macromedia ColdFusion MX7 Upgrade to MX7 & experience time-saving features, more productivity. http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion?sdid=RVJW Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:281928 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
