That is unlikely to make any difference. Are you only getting this error using the Java browser applet? You don't need that to set up your Access datasource. Are you using a drive mapping to get to this remote Access file? CF doesn't know about drive mappings, unless you created persistent drive mappings using the same account in which CF is running.
