But all of that does not have to be controlled by the coding IDE or in some
cases it can not be because of how a place might be setup.  Where I do the
bulk of my work they require us to use their own homebuilt system which
oddly enough is all web based and done in CF.  No one likes using it but
that is just how it is going to be and most of the places I have done coding
for have been in some similar situation, only one I can think of actually
used some "real" form of version control where a plugin in the IDE would
have been great to have.
