I don't know about tracking, but you can create excel docs using POI (go to the Jakarta Apache Project for more info...it is already included in CFMX). POI generated office docs using java methods without the need to have office installed on your server.

The document doesn't have to be saved back to the server; I just need to track their actions within the document. I want to capture these actions and simply write them to a database for review. Any help/suggestions or ideas on this topic would be greatly appreciated!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 and Flex 2 Build sales & marketing dashboard RIAâs for your business.
