I'm sure Mark would explain in more detail but in a nutshell, Mark and the other guys who worked on the project had to add a lot of work to get Eclipse to get things such as drag-n-drop text working (since that was not a native feature to the Eclipse IDE.)
Well, with Eclipse v3.3 the editor now supports several of the things that previously were coded especially for CFEclipse--which part of the reason things break in v3.3. I'm sure as soon as Mark feels like he's got a viable solution that he feels is stable enough, a release will show up. -Dan >-----Original Message----- >From: Andrew Scott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Friday, June 29, 2007 10:13 PM >To: CF-Talk >Subject: Re: CFEclipse not compatible w/ Eclipse 3.3 > >Hmm, why isnt that in the Source Repository then? > >I have been wanting that for so long, the editor currently crashes in >Eclipse 3.3. > > > >On 6/30/07, Greg Morphis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >> Uh I believe Mark was showing CFEclipse 1.3 on Eclipse 3.3 during his >> presentation at CFUnited this afternoon.
