I'm sure Mark would explain in more detail but in a nutshell, Mark and the
other guys who worked on the project had to add a lot of work to get Eclipse
to get things such as drag-n-drop text working (since that was not a native
feature to the Eclipse IDE.)

Well, with Eclipse v3.3 the editor now supports several of the things that
previously were coded especially for CFEclipse--which part of the reason
things break in v3.3.

I'm sure as soon as Mark feels like he's got a viable solution that he feels
is stable enough, a release will show up.
