Did you try to (un)zip a large file? I use XP, and it's native zip stuff is blazingly slow. And just plain doesn't work on some zips. 7zip is freakishly fast, and I use it, or winzip (I love watching winzip count the # of zip files I've opened with it, when I've left it in shareware mode), or java. =P It's not a show stopper, of course, but who cares? O-eses, shmo-esses.
