No he is correct. On the Adobe Pre-Release site it is RC (or release candidate 1) - elsewhere it is a public beta. They are at the time of writing the same thing however. The downloads, the docs, the extensions - are the same. I would expect at least one more RC before release unless the Adobe Engineers have really pulled out all guns. Personally would prefer at least one more RC than have to patch down the track.
