Hi, I have a SQL Server database and I want to make it accessible to CF. I can connect successfully to the datasource in CFIDE using the sa account, but I cannot do the same using a New Login with SQL Server Authentication. The error I receive is "Login failed for user 'theuser'" which is incidentally the same error I receive when using an incorrect password.
What permissions does a SQL Server 2005 Login need in order for CF to use it to access a SQL Server database? Thanks in advance.
