JS/CF question

I'm outputting dynamic images. I'm assigning each one its own ID. 

I added an onclick to call a function that should switch the image out with 
another when called.

 onclick="switchImage('#questionid#');"

In the function, I can't figure out howta use that argument variable to switch 
out the image. What am I doin wrong here?
