ColdFusion 8 can create PDFs, maybe it can also read links inside them?

As others have surmised, this is not for site navigation, this is to create
a clean copy of this site before a major upgrade and reorganization. It is
a many many (several 10's) thousand page site of mostly hand coded HTML
pages and PDF documents that has grown in fits and starts for more then a
decade.

I think I am looking for a tool that is more of a link checker then a site
navigation tool. The part I am not sure of is how to check links that are
encoded inside of PDF documents?
