Thanks for your reply Claude. I know that formatting wise it's madness to have <p> tags round <ul> tag, but the problem we are having is that we are suppplying xml data to a vendor for some reason their system won't accept <ul> listing without <p> tags round them. That is my dilema. I'll have a look at CF_Extract and see if it's any good to me.
