Tom, thanks for the help! I was/am using DW CS3. For most of my work, it's fine. However, I'm doing some consulting with another institution that doesn't have a very nice VPN/FTP setup. It's very slow and problematic. So, I wanted to break out of DW when working on that site.
Also, I'm really wanting to start using some sort of source control. Before tackling that, I want to get used to CFE. I think the main reason is that DW's snippets are lacking: No variables and no hot-key to add a snippet based of off a keyword. I already installed the classic build, but I think I'll download the WTP package. That will keep me from having to "start from scratch" with the plug-ins. There are quite a few other reasons: 1. Ray Camden uses it. 2. Eclipse has improved quite a bit since I tried it a couple of years back. 3. Mark Drew did a helluva job with CFE and his online videos. That's the lastest released one, iirc. > (I got the itch for CFE after watching Mark Drew's CFE videos on the > CFE > site.)
