Robert,

Use winRar, winZip, or powerArchiver, the internal windows zip utility
sucks =)

Update...

Well, I installed CF8 on Vista. It took a long time for web services to
connect, but then the install completed successfully. Then when I
brought up the CF Administrator I got an internal IIS server error.
Something about a missing file. It ran fine before I installed CF8, so
now there's that.

On Eclipse, Tom Chiverton recommended:

0303
/. I downloaded the WIN 32 version zip file, but it won't unzip
properly. I keep getting a message the file names are too long for the
OS. Tried it on both XP and Vista and got the same error. The file names
are huge. Moved it to the root but still got the error. So there's
another issue to content with.

Now, fix, fix, fix... hopefully.
