You can use the free, developer version to build your sites, and as long as your hosting company has a license, you are good to go.
Look at cfeclipse for building your sites in - it's free and is an excellent tool, so there's no need to use notepad unless you really want to! Hope that helps. I want to develop a site in coldfusion for which I have the necessary skills but I don't have the finances to buy coldfusion s/w. I can do my coding in notepad. I would like to host them on some cheap servers provided. Will I be violating any licensing rights of Adobe if I do this? Expecting your feedback Thanks & Regds jejy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get involved in the latest ColdFusion discussions, product development sharing, and articles on the Adobe Labs wiki. http://labs/adobe.com/wiki/index.php/ColdFusion_8 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:285940 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
