If with 'crashes' you mean a Blue Screen of Death: this is not a CF bug. CF does not load into the kernel so it can not cause this. It probably triggers some bug in a driver or something. Make sure you have memory dumps enabled in Windows (the 64k type is usually enough), make Windows crash and analyze the memory dump.
