I have viewed the lynda videos and I found them to be helpful. With that being said I am currently reading Essential ActionScript 3.0 by Colin Moock and it is a very good book. The author has broken down the language and really gone in depth into everything. I am a ColdFusion guy myself and found the language pretty easy to learn so far.
