Nope, as long as the user that CF runs has has read access to them (and write access to stuff that the CF admin manages), you're golden.

I am sure I am going to asked to 'document' my recommendation on which files on which to change the owner. Also, what user does CF run under in a default configuration on Unix? I know from my windows past, it uses 'localsystem' on that OS.
