Something like a trigger would be perfect. But the thing is I need to do some stuff that is not DB related (like send a message, etc). Can the trigger call a cfc or do an http call to some cfm? Can a stored proc call that? I've usually had my cfm calling stored procs not vice versa. Interesting thought.
