If you want to see a real world example of this, check out Paragator (paragator.riaforge.org). It is my RSS Aggregator CFC written for CF8. It also 'helps' make CFFEED a bit more friendlier by collapsing columns from Atom and RSS into common columns so you don't have to check the metadata. (End of commercial.)
