You could have the page submit to itself. When the page submits to itself,
write code to update the data in the database and then query the database to
get the new results and display them on the page.

Basically what I'm doing is sending data to a page for updating, then using
CFlocation to go back to the page with the updated data. Maybe this isn't

1) CFINCLUDE? All the variables carry locally
2) CFHTTP and CFHTTPPARAM?, you can specify them as form variables with a
CFHTTP ACTION="POST" if you like
