One wrinkle: when I added an additional custom tags directory mapping, the CF administrator didn't like using the mapped drive (i.e. "Z:\customtags\"), but it seems to work well with a SMB share (i.e. "\\osx-machine\user\sites\customtags\").
Letter drive mappings are user account specific.
