Yup I love the JS style as well.  I even used cfscript recently just so I 
could use my JS formatting skillz.

True, yes.  I kind of assumed he was trying to output it, hence his shock 
and horror when he saw "Yes" output rather than 1.  One of those 
eccentricities of CF, like starting arrays at index 1 instead of 0. (Though 
to me, 1 makes more logical sense than 0 to start an array...what does the 
zeroth element of something mean in reality?)
