We keep all of our campus events within several Exchange calendars. Each calendar is accessed by certain individuals in different departments. We can then keep the events separate, for example, showing only school calendar events on the registrar's calendar, or we can combine them for a full university calendar. These events can also be added to a person's calendar, by clicking a link on our intranet web site. CF8 can put the event directly on the person's calendar.
Our University Relations dept sends out daily newsletters, via email, to the campus. After sending the message, they move a copy of it to an archive mailbox. I have a script that pulls the messages, saves the attachments and then saves the message body as HTML. This gives us a web-based archive of each message that was sent. We have not yet starting touching the tasks or contacts, using CF8. Has anybody found a use for the Exchange integration built into CF8? My company is talking about switching to Exchange and was just wondering what kinds of widgets the CF community uses the new capabilities for. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion 8 - Build next generation apps today, with easy PDF and Ajax features - download now http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/coldfusion/cf8_beta_whatsnew_052907.pdf Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:290336 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
