No, mod_jrun.so won't work with JBoss. You don't get JRun's web server configuration tools if you're deploying to another J2EE server. You don't get them in an EAR or WAR because connecting to an external web server is the job of the J2EE server, not the applications you deploy to that server. If you want to deploy to JBoss, you will have to use whatever JBoss provides to connect to an external web server. You may then have to customize that to deal with CF-specific extensions - or you may not, I honestly don't know.
