I don't have any such thing.. never have, actually... this worked in CF7, and I'm told it should still work. All I'm doing is returning the qry straight up. Yet somehow, Flex already knows that my date column is a date object. I appreciate your suggestion, I'm hoping to find a simpler solution, but will head in that direction if no other solution presents itself. I just don't understand why it's not working when it worked fine with CF7 - and other people say it works fine with their implementations of CF8.... -- Rick Root Check out CFMBB, BlogCFM, ImageCFC, ImapCFC, CFFM, and more at www.opensourcecf.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Download the latest ColdFusion 8 utilities including Report Builder, plug-ins for Eclipse and Dreamweaver updates. http;//www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs%5adobecf8%5Fbeta Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:291283 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
